About the role:

Reporting to the Chief Brand Officer, your core mission will be to enhance the lives of patients and HCPs in the therapeutic area of Cardiovascular by designing and delivering better medicine experiences and supporting information, leveraging the strengths of the Pharmanovia platform.

You will have overall responsibility for activities within a therapeutic area including P&L, financial performance, strategic marketing, life cycle management, designing strategies to engage with KOLs, patient groups and other stakeholders to further differentiate and advance the brands.

You will also help in identifying commercial opportunities within the TA, including evaluating new molecules, line extensions, device enhancements and project manage their execution using your understanding of the medical, commercial, reimbursement and regulatory environment around medications within the therapeutic area of Cardiovascular.

This is a role that works with all departments across the business and will be supported by a digital content creation platform and marketing resources.

Main responsibilities & duties:

  • Designing engagement strategies for KOLs, patient groups and other stakeholders and develop brand strategy, promotional campaigns within marketing budgets, assessing the marketing mix, evaluating cost effectiveness and monitoring results
  • Providing strategic and tactical marketing support, aligning with common objectives between customers, patients and Pharmanovia
  • Running market research programmes & market insights for responsible Therapeutic area and monitor /anticipate market development
  • Leading in the identification of brand differentiators and competitors analysis to further enhance brands performance
  • Ensuring that customer and cross-functional insights are considered in all plans
  • Collaboration with the marketing and digital team to develop marketing campaigns and ensure global implementation
  • Liaison with other departments to evaluate new molecules, line extensions, device enhancements for commercial fit
  • Business development and product development for future pipeline
  • Development and evaluation of the localised marketing strategy
  • Building and driving Key Opinion Leader programmes
  • Monitoring and controlling brand budgets, forecasts and expenses
  • Facilitate brand and marketing sharing and learning from local to global.
  • Compliance with applicable policies, procedures and other regulations.

About you:

  • Degree Educated ideally in Life Sciences, Business or Marketing
  • Experience in marketing in Pharma / Biotech business commercial experience and/or leadership experience in Healthcare
  • Proven track record of coordinating and collaboration across multiple teams to prioritise varying business objectives and drive action to meet business requirements
  • Experience with revenue forecasting, expense management, business case development, including setting market price and management/communication or brand performance
  • Experience in the field of Cardiovascular is highly advantageous
  • Experience in managing P&L for brands
  • Experience in Digital Marketing; including in marketing strategy, brand planning, multi-channel (digital and non-digital) marketing operations and campaign/tactic execution/management.
  • Digital & Technology Savvy with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience and knowledge of the Legal/Medical/Regulatory review process
  • Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
  • Working knowledge of financial metrics and ability to monitor performance of activities undertaken
  • Ability to manage external agencies, vendors, and support teams
  • Project/programme management and ability to effectively author creative briefs
  • Ability to work and lead (a cross-functional team) in a matrix environment
  • Ability to thrive and deliver in a cross-functional team and work to deadlines
