As the Channel Marketing Manager, youll be key to connecting our customers (employers and individuals) to our purpose and driving our reach, influence, and impact. Youll be responsible for designing and managing the delivery of marketing programmes and plans that allow our channel partners to convert employers and individuals at scale into a mutually beneficial relationship with the CIPD. All marketing programmes and plans will be audience and insight-led and delivered across key global markets. Your role will include:

  • Delivering marketing plans that deliver annual targets for customer acquisition, retention, and engagement.
  • Designing marketing programmes that support our channel partners to attract and convert key customer groups.
  • Building and maintaining collaborative and mutually beneficial relationships with our channel partners.
  • Designing and executing a channel partner recruitment strategy across all key markets.
  • Delivering, testing, and tracking digital marketing programmes across key markets.
  • Managing campaign budgets and optimising marketing performance.
  • Building the right customer journeys to drive acquisition, retention, and engagement.
  • Working with internal teams and agencies to deliver high-quality and highly effective marketing programmes and assets.
  • Managing, developing, and motivating a Marketing Executive.

To be successful, youll need:

  • To be an experienced senior marketer in a similar role and/or in B2B marketing.
  • A proven track record of designing and delivering multi-channel marketing programmes.
  • Strong evidence of managing and executing lead gen, nurture campaigns and content marketing.
  • Evidence of excellent marketing delivery skills including data management, segmentation, automation, and digital marketing.
  • Strong business and financial acumen and evidence of improving marketing performance.
  • To work internationally with an international mindset.
  • A strong understanding of the latest marketing techniques and practices.
  • The ability to influence and manage senior stakeholders (internally and externally).
  • To be a team player with excellent organisational, communication and management skills.
