Marketing Assistant - Digital Team

Job Overview:

The marketing and digital function is an integral part of the company. The Marketing Assistant will support the Digital department. This work will be a critical factor for the smooth operation of the Digital department and the attainment of its goals, as well as for the long-term growth of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department's activities

Support Department Manager in organising various projects

Conduct Market research and analyse consumer rating reports/questionnaires

Update spreadsheets, databases and inventories with statistical, financial and non-financial Information

Update website utilising CMS and web tools

Assist in the organising of digital campaigns

Assist in the organising of promotional events and when necessary attend them to facilitate their success

Support online content on the company's website and facilitate information for social media accounts

Communicate directly with different stakeholders and encourage trusting relationships

Key Objectives:

Ensure that workloads of the department/team are prioritised to meet deadlines set by the business.

Remain motivated to perform well and encourage others in the team to do the same

Take ownership of tasks and issues that arise and either address these or delegate onto suitable colleagues.

Achieve the departments targets and goals

Person Specification:

  • Proven experience as a marketing assistant
  • Good understanding of office management and marketing principles
  • Experience of web CMS and online content editing
  • Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
  • Well-organized with a customer-oriented approach
  • Good knowledge of market research techniques and databases
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, marketing computer software and online applications (CRM tools, online analytics, Google AdWords etc.)
  • Excellent communication and people skills

Graduate degree in Marketing, Business or relevant field is a strong advantage
