Were looking for a digitally minded Graphic Designer to join our friendly and experienced Marketing team on a permanent basis as we take on exciting new projects and continue to develop our visual brand.

The Design team works in partnership with all areas of the business to deliver the growth objectives of the firm. Our work includes the creation of designed material and promotional content, and management of our social media channels to improve brand awareness, consistency and coherence.

Reporting directly in to the Design Lead, the Graphic Designer is responsible for the successful delivery of a wide range of work, typically including the production of digital design assets like corporate literature, advertisements, newsletters and presentations.

This is a full-time position based from our Birmingham office and will be worked under our flexible-working 'WorkSmart' framework where you will have the option to share your time between the office and home.


As part of the team, youll be responsible for successfully delivering a wide range of design solutions, primarily the production of digital design assets such as interactive brochures, online advertisements, email newsletters, social content and webpages. This would all be underpinned by our visual brand, which you will need to execute consistently and confidently as part of your role.

The ideal candidate will bring creative ideas to the table, be open to questioning design briefs and its essential they keep themselves abreast of current design trends in an ever-changing digital world.


Design work

  • Create HTML emails
  • Create artwork for our company webpages
  • Produce landing pages, videos, social posts and supporting assets for marketing campaigns
  • Create engaging digital adverts to use across a range of online media
  • Produce design solutions for online literature like interactive PDFs
  • Proactively develop our online design portfolio, inc idea generation and research
  • Develop visual ideas for animated assets such as explainer videos
  • Produce visuals to be used across our key social media channels
  • Develop creative solutions for our extensive events programme to ensure a strong and cohesive brand is developed to enhance attendance and marketplace presence
  • Design and production of Microsoft templates for company use (inc Word and PowerPoint)
  • Produce artwork within existing design templates
  • Produce internal communications and newsletters as necessary

Print work

  • Assist with print management and administration duties to get the best quality and value from our external suppliers

Promotion of the department

  • Maintain good working relationships across the firm, particularly with Partners and Associates
  • Be a role model and ambassador for the Marketing Team


  • Maintain good working knowledge of design trends and latest skills required

  • You will ideally have a Degree or equivalent in Graphic Design or similar, or be qualified by experience
  • Previous graphic design experience is required (ideally around 2+ years in a graphic design role is expected, although not essential)
  • Experience working within professional services or financial services is an advantage
  • You will be able to present a varied portfolio of digital work, demonstrating the ability to meet challenging client briefs creatively
  • Your work must show keen attention to detail with typography, editorial layouts and use of imagery
  • You will have a comprehensive working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud with particular proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects (please list those you are competent using during the application process)
  • Dreamweaver and Premiere Pro proficiency an advantage
  • Advanced front-end web design and HTML knowledge to develop online solutions is beneficial
