IT Project Manager

The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Head of PMO, you will be responsible for managing a number of key projects. In doing so, you will keep senior management up to speed with progress and performance. You will negotiate with internal and external groups to drive projects and must be comfortable creating and maintaining standard documentation as PIDs, project plans, RAID logs, RACI matrix, success criteria reports and project closure reports.

You must have good communication style, to lead assigned customer projects, ensuring that project goals are met, customers expectations are fulfilled, and that the customer relation is handled in the best possible way within the scope of the contract.

Key Deliverables:

  • Hold responsibility for Internal and external Customer and partner engagement
  • Establish the project plan baseline: define project scope, secure the necessary resources and plan and monitor all activities
  • Work with Solution Architects to break down project deliverables across several delivery teams, securing the necessary resources and planning realistic delivery dates
  • Support the PMO regarding governance
  • Establish and communicate clear project goals and baselines against scope, timelines and/or cost.

About you:

  • Significant experience in Project Management in an IT environment
  • Proven experience leading varied Projects in a number of different environments
  • Agile/Waterfall knowledge and experience
  • A previous experience with 3rd party suppliers
  • English Fluency is required to be able to interact with global stakeholders internally and externally
  • Good Financial Acumen & Analysis Skills
  • Certification in Project Management (Prince2 Foundation and Practitioner or PMP) would be beneficial
  • A positive and willing to do attitude and a desire to progress in your career within a PMO
