Project Manager Telecoms

The Network Collective, the leading independent network and telecoms professional services consultancy, is looking for a new Project Manager to join our Deployment Management team. We work with many of the UK's most prestigious organisations - see for more information.
The role is responsible for managing multiple, major telecoms projects on behalf of customers, sitting alongside our clients and working closely with them. Projects may include procurement, strategy and in-life management. This role is predominantly a working from home one, with (infrequent) visits to customer sites and our SW14 office.
Project Management
  • Provide regular and fully detailed information via the companys designated software system for you and all members of your team on project progress
  • Attend project management review sessions with Account Directors and Consultants
  • Manage a range of projects and project types across the full range of TNCs services, across a number of customers simultaneously
  • Collaborate with all parties involved in the projects, working as an ecosystem to deliver great client outcomes
  • Demonstrate a range of commercial, technical, procedural and process, inter-personal, negotiation and advisory skills to a variety of customer personnel
  • Provide customers with commercial, technical, service and operational expertise as required to complete each project you undertake
  • Ensure all project administration and finance information is accurate and maintained to a high standard and in a timely manner
  • Manage client expectations through an engagement
  • Provide the Principal Consultant with weekly status updates for all projects
  • Highlight potential issues (client and supplier) to the Principal Consultant in a timely manner
  • Work as part of the Delivery Team to continually review and improve our client documentation, processes and procedures
  • Produce a significant volume of work efficiently and in a specific period of time
  • Produce work that is accurate and thorough
  • Take initiative and be reliable in completing tasks on time
Customer Liaison
  • Produce high quality customer-facing documentation at relevant periods during projects
  • Manage customer expectations throughout each engagement
Vendor Liaison
  • Manage third party vendor relationships in a professional and responsible manner upholding high ethical standards
  • Strong project management skills, experience and qualifications
  • Good knowledge of network and telecoms industry
  • Good customer relationship building and communication skills
  • Innovative thinking, ability to mitigate risks, solve issues and clearly express your approach to multiple stakeholders
  • Organised, efficient, able to prioritise and manage time effectively
