The Role
We are looking for new team members with management/leadership experience in the Health & Social Care sector, to join our team. As a Skills Coach (Assessor), you will play an integral part in guiding learners through their vocational training programme, helping them successfully achieve their course requirements. We will provide full training, and support you through the TAQA Assessor qualification to ensure you become a qualified Assessor.
Responsibilities & Tasks
To effectively manage your own learner caseload, you will assess and support learners through their Health and Social Care & Management Apprenticeship within their workplace
Set individual targets for each learner based on capability to ensure KPIs are met
Manage your diary efficiently, to ensure regular contact with learners
Monitor , assess and record learner progress, ensuring any challenges are overcome and learners make progress after each visit
To maintain learner retention and promote progression to higher level programmes.
Role Requirements
Strong work ethic with the personality and ambition to succeed
Possess excellent face-to-face and telephone communication expertise
You will be highly motivated possessing strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast paced, target driven environment
Excellent time management and the ability to work to deadlines
Great administration and organisation skills
Ability to deal with professionals at a senior to director/owner level
Helpful if you have a Registered Managers Award / NVQ (QCF) in Leadership and Management for Care Services
Due to the nature of the role, a full UK driving licence and access to avehicle would be ideal
