Sana is looking for a Medical Practice Administrator to manage our primary care health center in Austin. Our health center isn't your typical doctor's office. We're working to deliver engaging, modern, concierge-style healthcare for our members. The Medical Practice Administrator will oversee operations of the health center, assist the clinical team by providing patient service support, provide people operations for health center staff and contribute to the growth and success of the practice. To be successful in this role, you must be highly organized, a great communicator and passionate about patient-centered care. The ideal candidate excels at taking initiative, problem-solving, and displays an openness to push the envelope of how care is delivered.

What you will do

• Monitor compliance to legal guidelines, licensing, internal policies and quality standards
• Develop protocols and procedures for process improvement initiatives
• Support EHR workflows for clinical staff to enable seamless care delivery
• Conduct interviews, employee performance reviews, and perform disciplinary actions when appropriate
• Promote teamwork to support a healthy & happy work culture
• Facilitate regular touchpoints on patient satisfaction survey results, policy reviews, and concerns from clinic staff
• Collaborate closely with Sana Benefits leadership to review operational performance; conduct data collection, health outcomes reporting and implementing business strategies to help the health center meet organizational goals

About you

• You have 5+ years working in clinical setting with 3+ years in a management role
• Bachelor's degree required; MHA, MPH or RN preferred
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Exceptional organizational and leadership skills
• Clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care
• You're comfortable with trying new things. We're constantly learning and improving as we go
• Entrepreneurial. Self-directed. Excited to innovate
• Passionate. You care about making our healthcare system work better for patients
• Grit. You aren't worried about getting your hands dirty and working hard when you need to
