Project Analyst - Facilities

The Project Analyst is responsible for assisting in analysis, planning, executing and monitoring of PMO projects. Additionally, this position is responsible for monitoring and ensuring project methodologies are being followed.

  • Reports to the Director of Project Management Office

Principal Responsibilities

  • Utilize working knowledge of Facilities Planning, Design and Construction to effectively collaborate with Operations, Business Development & Marketing, IT, Telecom and Purchasing staff to assist in the implementation of strategic projects.
  • Exercise decision-making authority. Exhibit sound and accurate judgment, conduct research and analysis to support recommendations, and include appropriate individuals in a timely decision-making process.
  • Assist in analyzing and documenting project objectives and requirements to define scope, goals and deliverables that support the Clinic's goals and objectives.
  • Assist in developing workflow processes and diagrams for projects.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining detailed project schedules and work estimates for project work.
  • Provide assistance on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Assist in researching and documenting solutions, procedures, and standards.
  • Develop an understanding of the Clinic's initiatives in relation to projects.
  • Develop and maintain working knowledge in SC's core technologies and analytical services.
  • Respond promptly to client needs and solicit feedback to improve service, meet commitments, and provide follow-up within a timely manner.
  • Continually build professional and project-related knowledge and skills.
  • Attend educational programs on and off site as required.
  • Comply with the Springfield Clinic incident reporting policy and procedures.
  • Adhere to all OSHA and Springfield Clinic training & accomplishments as required per policy.
  • Provide excellent customer service and adhere to Springfield Clinic's Code of Conduct and Ethics Standards.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned.


  • College degree preferred. Post-secondary certification/degree and two (2) years' work experience in business, information technology, healthcare, project planning, or other related field.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Must provide own method of transportation to travel to all Clinic locations.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work with a wide variety of initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with peers and superiors, speak in front of groups and communicate in the writing of policies, procedures, memoranda, and training materials.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to determine actions by using innovation, creativity, good judgment, and critical thinking.
  • Ability to systematically analyze situations and issues, identify options, draw logical conclusions.
  • Working knowledge of system analysis, procedure analysis, clinical analysis, and problem resolution.
  • Ability to build a positive team spirit, treats others with respect and consideration regardless of status or position.
  • Working knowledge of information systems/healthcare concepts and terminology.
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders in a problem-solving environment.
  • Ability to handle difficult or sensitive situation with diplomacy and tact, while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment or supplies of varying sizes and shapes, weighing up to 45 lbs.
