Marketing Assistant

Nicholas Howard Limited are delighted to be recruiting for an exclusive role for our client in Dublin, Ireland. The position is for a Marketing Assistant, working on a hybrid model therefore can be available to work from home 3 out of 5 days a week.

Our client’s group is a dynamic, credit orientated lending business. The business is backed by one of Australia’s largest investment banks and majority owned by management. The business is part of a larger group that include a fintech start-up, a motor finance business, a mortgage lender and a consumer finance business.

The company primarily serves customers that fall outside mainstream lenders criteria, making it a very interesting segment to serve. Customers are generally students, people with little or no credit history, people with an adverse credit rating.

The role is based within the Motor Finance business of the group and would be reporting directly to the Head of Marketing.

Job Overview:

Working within the Dublin Marketing Team, this role will assist the Head of Marketing with the planning, implementation and measurement of all Marketing activities.

This will involve taking ownership of our Social Channels, primarily LinkedIn and Twitter, event planning, email marketing, working closely with our Sales team and Creative Agency, in addition to supporting our Digital Partners and liaising with third party suppliers.

A fantastic opportunity for a self-starter to work with a dynamic team where every day is different, whilst gaining exposure to all areas of Marketing.

Core Responsibilities:

* Support Head of Marketing, Sales, Digital Partners and our network of Motor Dealers.

* Assist Marketing with Key Daily Tasks.

* eMarketing.

* Direct Mail Campaigns.

* Order Point of Sale Collateral.

* Ownership of Social Channels - Planning, Creating and Posting.

* Website Updates.

* Image creation - Social Posts and Hero Images.

* Proactively identify, create and implement potential campaigns, communications and marketing collateral.

* Provide reports and insights to key stakeholders to enable the measurement of campaign performance and impact.

* Customer Review Platform - Respond and Promote.

* Surveys.

* Copywriting.

* Event Planning.

* Sponsorship / Advertising.

* Relationship Management - Internally and with Third Parties.

Skills & Requirements:

* Experience working in a Marketing environment.

* Experience with CRM system e.g., HubSpot.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Strong organisational skills.

* Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.

* Ability to interact with various business units, staff based in remote locations and third parties.

Desirable:

* Experience with a Project Management Platform e.g., Asana.

* Experience with design e.g., Canva or Adobe Photoshop.

* Excellent attention to detail.
