Must build strong, productive relationships with trade partners and all McKee Homes departments. Oversee process improvement and implementation to ensure quality performance and enhanced quality of life for McKee associates and McKee trade partners. As a McKee team member, the Builder is also responsible for providing a premier customer experience by planning, directing, and coordinating activities pertaining to the construction of homes in accordance with company policies and building code while staying on schedule and under budget. This position seeks to provide incredible and unique customer service to home buyers.



  • Interprets specifications and company policies to trade partners and enforces safety regulations; analyzes and resolves worksite problems
  • Inspects property and units under construction on a regular basis to ensure the work conforms to specifications, budget, and schedule
  • Regularly communicates with the sales team regarding construction status and any issues
  • Maintains the upkeep and cleanliness of standing inventory homes and lawns, as well as any shared community space managed by McKee Homes
  • Reviews and approves all invoices as necessary
  • Maintain documentation in systems as required
  • Walk homebuyers through pre-construction, pre-drywall, and pre-close orientations and communicate required information effectively

This position supervises trade partner crews when work is being done on McKee Homes job sites.


This job operates in a construction site environment. This role is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. This position is performed in outside weather conditions.

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.


Travel is expected for this position, mostly within a few hours' driving distance.


  • High school diploma or GED
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management preferred
  • Two years of previous experience


Valid Driver's License required

Reliable vehicle with minimum state-required insurance required
