We are hiring an experienced Business Systems Manager & Developer to join our expanding teams at Foureyes and Adpearance. Curious? Sounds like you’d fit right in.


The Role

The Business Systems Manager & Developer will oversee administration, development and maintenance for key business information systems, chiefly including Salesforce.com, applications built upon the Salesforce.com platform, and any integrations between Salesforce.com and other systems.

Responsibilities

  • Works with stakeholders to identify any system needs and create/manage projects to deliver on them.

  • Maintains the systems day-to-day by responding to any user support needs.

  • Manages, mentors and leads the Business Systems Administrator.

  • Delegates any such work to Business Systems Administrator as sees fit.

  • Primary work is in the "back end" of the system including new feature development, feature upgrades, system architecture, maintenance (including bug patches), performance optimization, etc.

Job Qualifications

You are our ideal candidate if you have:

  • Expert knowledge of Salesforce metadata components including but not limited to: Apex, Visualforce, Workflow Rules, Process Builder / Flow, Validation Rules, Formula Fields, Objects and Fields, Custom Settings, Custom Metadata Types, Reports and Dashboards, etc.

  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

  • Expert abilities to design, develop and maintain custom applications on the Salesforce.com platform.

  • Expert technical skills; ability to understand complex system architecture and to see how various components stack up to produce results.

  • Ability to think critically and solve technical problems, including how to investigate and understand system components in troubleshooting various issues. And you can do so independently using only online resources.

  • High attention to detail. You spot the error or discrepancy that most people miss.

  • Thorough general understanding of system integrations and the implications on data flow, data integrity, APIs, etc.

  • Strong ability to understand business case so as to come up with tailored software solutions to complex business problems.

  • Ability to be inquisitive, notice when business requirements are not adding up, and ask insightful questions to clear up any discrepancies.

  • Strong project management capabilities.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.

  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience.

  • At least two years of Salesforce.com administration and development experience required.

  • Salesforce admin and/or developer certification(s) is a plus but not required.
