BMS Project Manager

Job description
We have an excellent opportunity for an Project Manager to join our growing team in Dublin. This role involves working with our design teams to deliver high quality state of the art control systems throughout many different sectors.
The projects we deliver range from commercial to industrial to manufacturing environments. We work with the latest technologies to help our clients operate their buildings as efficiently as possible.
The ideal candidate will be motivated, independent and confident. As with any technical role, a high level of attention to detail is expected.
This is a new role within the business and will allow the candidate the autonomy to carry out their duties to the best of their ability. New ideas and alternative practices are not only welcomed but encouraged, we are looking for someone who can join our business and become a core member of our team.
Type of Person we are looking for:
*Good Working knowledge of Electrical / Mechanical trades
*A strong understanding of mechanical HVAC systems
*3/4 + years' work experience
*Experience managing a skilled team across multiple projects
*Ability to work in a team environment or on your own initiative
*Excellent communication, customer service and client facing skills
*Be commercially astute and be able to develop good working relationships
*Schedule and manage labour resource as required on various projects
*Ability to manage and drive a team to meet with all project requirements and deadlines
*
What that person is required to do specifically:
*Establish Project Time Frames
*Schedule and allocate Engineering
*Identify equipment needed for project delivery as outlined in the Engineering phase
*Liaise with Client regarding approval of Engineered Projects.
*Co-ordinate equipment deliveries with project administrator
*Schedule and allocate control panel manufacture
*Generate Panel Test Documentation from Engineering documents.
*Schedule control panel Testing.
*Schedule and allocate Project engineering
*Liaise with Client regarding Project Commissioning.
*Schedule and allocate Project Commissioning.
*Update Project Progress software are required.
What that person is also required to do on an on-going basis:
*Planning of all resources including labour, materials and sub-contractors
*Monitor progress against work schedule to identify any issues on projects
*Be the initial on-site point of contact for the client/ client representative & consulting engineers after sales phase.
*Ensure the adherence to safety and quality standards
*Ensure on site personnel have adequate PPE
*Attend site meetings regarding scheduling/progress.
Required Skills:
*IT literate including MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
*High level of relationship management skills
*Good administrative skills
*Full & Clean Driving Licence
*Knowledge of BMS industry best practice would be an advantage.
*Good customer facing skills
*Enthusiastic target focused individual, who possesses varied people management attributes
