Behavior Consultant - Level 2 Clinician (Independent Contractor)


  1. Provide behavioral support services including training, supervision, or assistance in appropriate expression of emotions and desires, compliance, assertiveness, acquisition of socially appropriate behaviors, and the reduction of inappropriate behaviors.
  2. Develop behavior support plans that address the behavioral support needs of an individual in accordance with 460 IAC 6-18-2 Behavioral Support Plan Standards.
  3. Provide training to persons implementing behavior support plan including the techniques and procedures required for implementing the plan as well as an understanding of how to use them.
  4. Review behavior support plans quarterly and adjust as necessary.
  5. Provide written report to pertinent parties at least quarterly.
  6. Maintain confidentiality regarding all client matters. Failure to maintain confidentiality may result in immediate termination of the service agreement
  1. Master's degree, Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) approved, psychology, special education, social work or related behavioral science field or Master's degree with a clinical license issued by the Indiana Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist of Mental Health Counselor Board. As one of the following: 1) Clinical Social Worker 2) Marriage and Family Therapist 3) Mental Health Counselor

  • While performing the duties of this job, the contractor is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch; talk or hear. The contractor must occasionally lift and/or move up to 5 to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision and distance vision.
