Sous Chef / Lead Cook

Busy Small Catering company looking for a Sous chef, lead cook. we offer flexible shift due to the nature of catering business. when were busy we work when were not we have the flexibility to have time off (the work hard play hard situation). We do a variety of business from individual packaged meal for meal prep and business clients, Pick up and drop off buffets and full service catering. We handle a large variety of cuisines and a fresh approach to scratch cooking and preparing menus.

Average shift is from 7am-3pm Mon-Friday with weekends that are pending on events and the nature of events. Weekends can be long days.

Looking for an individual with

Good knife skills

Ability to be on time and dependable

Will to do what it takes to be successful in the kitchen (staying clean, General cleaning, Deep cleaning when needed, Dishes, Garbage removal, picking up and putting away orders)

General knowledge on kitchen equipment (fryer, oven, Grill, stove)

Knowledge on baking, sautéing and grilling in small to large batches.

This is a salary position with an hourly position on offsite catering functions
