Job description

Frank's Chophouse is looking for full time line cooks to join our enthusiastic and welcoming team. We are an upscale casual dining restaurant specializing in hand cut steaks, fresh seafood, and house made cuisine. Great candidates can also assist with prep and miscellaneous tasks around our kitchen, have great attention to detail, and are eager to learn and excel. Both weekend morning, and Dinner shifts are available. experience in prep, dinner, and brunch service is preferred.


Responsibilities

  • Prepare stations for service
  • Replenish line prep as necessary (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
  • Cook menu items assist with prep projects
  • Work as a team, assist other kitchen staff as needed
  • maintain a clean work space
  • Consolidate and rotate inventory appropriately
  • Ensure that food comes out in a timely manner and high quality, with attention to detail
  • Follow sanitation regulations and safety standards
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Skills

  • Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line cooking, prep, and kitchen operations
  • Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
  • Focused in executing assigned tasks, willingness to excel and learn
  • Familiar restaurant procedures
  • Highschool school diploma

Compensation

  • $20-$22/hour based on experience
