The Learner Support and Transition Division provides a range of leveled academic interventions and support for students at Western Technical College. The Academic Intervention Faculty are integral to just-in-time student support embedded in classes (all modalities), targeted support outside of class hours, and co-teaching to collaborate for student success and model best practices. Intervention Faculty Specialists are equity-minded, relationship-based practitioners who deepen learning in a culturally responsive manner, help to increase academic achievement and retention of students in order to move them successfully to program completion. Academic Intervention Faculty are important activators of the mission of Western, advocates of social justice, and a part of the solution to the achievement gap.
Contract would be 3 terms (Fall, Spring and Summer)
Instructional Format would be mostly face-to-face but may involve some blended, hybrid, and online courses.
1. Maintain and uphold the College values of Learning, Excellence, Accountability, Diversity, Student Success, Teamwork, Integrity, and Respect. Regular attendance is required.
2. Complete all required College training and responsible for maintaining the skills necessary to complete the essential functions of the position as defined by the department.

Starting annual salary range based on education and experience: $54,511 - $72,227
