The Opportunity

This is a significant opportunity for an intellectually curious, tenacious sales executive to generate interest, conversion, and retention among new client prospects. This Associate Manager, Strategic Accounts position can be remote based, or at our headquarters in Denver, CO.

The Role

  • The core focus of your role will be to build business with new client prospects, managing all aspects of the process: account research, prospecting/outreach, discovery and capabilities presentations, scoping market research solutions, developing proposals, earning the business, and nurturing relationships to maximize client growth and retention.
  • Reporting to Sr Director of Strategic Accounts, you will develop an expert understanding of your clients' needs, and how to align GutCheck's research solutions for maximum results. The goal: enable your clients to make bold and confident decisions in their innovation and brand building.
  • With a prime focus on building new business, you will thrive in an environment of constant action, flexing between outbound and inbound activity, employing the professional persistence needed to earn new business engagements.
  • While an individual contributor with assigned quota, you will be part of a broader sales organization that fosters collaboration, strong accountability, healthy competition, and mutual support to achieve our goals.

Must Haves

  • 2+ years of B2B sales experience, including a substantial new business quota. Experience in selling tech-enabled services and/or market research is ideal.
  • Strong business acumen, and a passion for becoming an expert in market research solutions and how they align to our clients' innovation and brand building strategies.
  • Exceptional communication skills: highly credible written and verbal skills, with strong poise and confidence.
  • Experience in contracting and negotiating agreements.
  • Trusted partner to internal cross-functional teams, including Client Services, Product, Marketing, and Finance/Legal.
  • Detail orientation, particularly with pipeline management and tracking sales activities.

Compensation Range (Base + Variable): $100,000-$115,000
