Data Scientist

We are seeking out an enthusiastic and motivated Data Scientist to join our Analytics and Data Science team. As a Data Scientist, you will work with the Analytics and Data Science team to develop models for CLV, churn, product recommenders, and to assess Marketing/Media Mix Models. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop ML models that allow us to be prescriptive as opposed to reactive
  • Stay informed of next generation data and analytical tools
  • Convert ad hoc analyses into scalable solutions and tools that can used on demand as self-serve
  • Develop models for CLV, churn, product recommenders
  • Assess Marketing/Media Mix Models
  • Help reveal actionable insights for individuals within various business functions
  • Clean, prep, and verify the integrity of data for analyses
  • Track model accuracy, ensuring model relevance and reliability

Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, or quantitative field
  • Experience building datasets for ad hoc usage, BI tools, and/or advanced analytics
  • Ability to solve complex analytical problems
  • Strong quantitative and analytics background, with experience in statistical modeling, and visualization
  • Some experience in data engineering, data science, or operations research/analysis preferred
  • Demonstrable knowledge of common coding languages (Python, SQL, R), with ability to learn new skills and apply skills in new environments
  • Proven ability to collaborate with colleagues and work well with vendors/partners
