Seeking a part-time intern to join our interior design team in our Grand Rapids office. Qualified candidates should be working towards a professional degree in interior design, and have effective knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, PhotoShop, InDesign and similar graphics software. Strong organizational and communication skills, both graphic & verbal, are critical. Creativity and a good sense of humor are essential. Responsibilities
* Work in a team environment.
* Assist with maintenance and organization of interior material library.
* Assist in design and presentation documents and material selections.
* Conduct material and product research.
* Meet with product & furniture sales representatives.
* Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Minimum Physical Requirements
Occasionally exposed to light lifting, sitting, and walking. May perform duties in the field and will be required to access and maneuver around project sites and use a computer. Capable of traveling to and from projects is required. Ability to use equipment for communication and documentation purposes. Visual acuity to perform responsibilities. Desired Education
Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Interior Design or Interior Architecture from an accredited university. Desired Degree

* Ideal candidate will have experience in developing projects using Revit and Sketch-Up.
