Project Manager

Description

Altra Federal Credit Union hiring for a driven, dedicated, and motivated individual to fill our Project Manager position within the Business Innovation department. The role of the Project Manager is to primarily assist with the coordination and completion of internal projects, maintain project manager software, monitor project progress, and provide project updates to business units and teams.

The Project Manager role requires experience and abilities in the following areas:

  • Demonstrate, direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution
  • Strong familiarity with project management software, such as Microsoft Project
  • Develop and manage work breakdown structure (WBS) of all projects. Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
  • Solid working knowledge of current Internet technologies
  • Technically competent with various software programs, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Visio

A Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of project management experience OR an Associate's degree and four (4) years of project management experience is required.

Candidates must display a professional image that promotes all of Altra's Brand Principles and provides quality member service and staff support. Must be detailed oriented, a creative thinker and demonstrate team-building skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written are essential and have a strong business sense. Active listening and time management skills are required to do the job.

This position is 40-hours a week, Monday through Friday with work from home / remote work opportunities. Altra's corporate office is located in Onalaska, WI, however, this position can be remote for the hired candidate.
