Postion Overview:
The CAD/BIM Coordinator is responsible for generating and managing
complete digital models of electrical systems for a wide variety of building
types
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
- Generate
and/or manage digital models utilizing AutoCAD MEP or Revit MEP software
- Ability
to understand and produce complete electrical installation and prefabrication
drawings
- Extensive
knowledge of electrical systems
- Knowledge
of the National Electrical Code, or NFPA 70
- Experience
in Architecture/Engineering/Construction industry
- Ability
to collaborate with other Sub-Contractors, as well as the General Contractor to
detect and resolve design clashes utilizing Navisworks, prior to installation
- Ability
to read, understand and review electrical submittals to produce 3D models for
design coordination
- Ability
to complete tasks based on direction by others with minimal supervision
- Ability
to attend and represent the company at project coordination meetings
- Travel
to jobsites as required to collaborate with our field and project management
team
- Manage
and use coordination, scheduling, file sharing and collaboration platforms
- Ability
to perform well within strict deadlines to meet project schedules
- Ability
to manage shifting priorities on a regular basis
- Possess
a self-motivated mindset
- Ability
to work well within a collaborative/team environment
- High-level
problem-solving abilities
- Strong
written and verbal communication skills

- Associates/Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent relevant work experience
