Marketing Coordinator - Direct Mail

To continue growing our 4 million+ customer base, we are looking for an experienced self-starter to join the Marketing Team.

The Direct Mail Coordinator will play a critical role in assisting in the development and execution of customer acquisition and retention marketing campaigns. Core functions include submitting creative requests, managing the proofing process, maintaining a schedule to ensure deadlines are met, weekly reporting of campaigns, and evaluating campaign performance. This will be a key position within the marketing team, requiring strong organizational and collaborative skills as well as demonstrated aptitude for managing the details.

This role will work closely with the creative team and outside print vendors, among other key internal/external stakeholders, and will assist the Direct Mail Manager to achieve the goals of the campaigns. This position will report to the Direct Mail Manager, and the candidate can be located in Scottsdale, AZ or Portland, OR.


  • Assist in the development, execution, and evaluation of Direct Mail campaigns
  • Submit creative requests in a timely manner, with thorough instructions, and manage the proofing process to ensure deadlines are met
  • Identify toll free number and URL assignments within multiple platforms
  • Conduct weekly reporting of all active Direct Mail campaigns and monitor performance
  • Maintain a creative log of all packages and develop reports to evaluate top performing assets
  • Process invoices from multiple vendors and maintain the DM invoice tracker
  • Assist the Direct Mail Manager in analyzing campaign results, delivering findings, and providing recommendations for future initiatives


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to execute each essential duty. The qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience in Direct Mail planning and/or buying
  • Working knowledge of Direct Response media reporting and analytics
  • Ability to use Excel to forecast and analyze campaign metrics is required
  • Positive experience working with external agencies
  • Demonstrate ability to think analytically, solve problems, make decisions and use sound judgment
  • Ability to multi-task in a high volume work environment and meet multiple deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and project management skills
  • A self-starter with strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work and stay connected with various internal and external cross-functional teams
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
