Product Support Manager - Allison

The Opportunity

Responsible for building/managing all activities related to the growing aftermarket parts and labor revenue for a large geographical region.
Accountable for building/maintaining relationships with national customers.
Mentor and determine the strengths/weaknesses of dotted line employees.

 

The Role

  • Negotiate terms and purchase assistance from manufacturers as required.
  • Liaise with major accounts.
  • Supervise and develop a sales team; this includes coaching, mentoring,
  • Territory Sales Targets, scheduling, attendance, conflict resolution, training, and development.
  • Review sales quotes and deals, assisting the Sales Team with pending sales.
  • Respond to sales inquiries and assist the Sales Team and Branch Managers in their daily sales activities.
  • Analyze market conditions to effectively target major customers.
  • Continually solicit and develop customer base.
  • Analyze various market segments to establish proper PSR targets and territories.
  • Work with Sales team to develop and review their customer sales forecasting to meet sales expectations.
  • Establish and work with PSR’s to ensure a balance of current customer retention and new customer growth
  • Ensure regular and consistent reporting and meetings with the VP and/or GM, Operations and the Director, Product Support.
  • Establish and work effectively with the local branch management and regional leader within assigned region
  • Conduct and attend sales meetings with respective Branch Management and manufacturers.
  • Foster a workplace culture of safety, with appropriate leadership.
  • Must continually promote health and safety awareness with instruction, information, training, and supervision to ensure the safe performance of employees.
