Field Project Manager

Manufacturer of steel fabrications and structures seeks experienced Field Project Manager for a contract in Ogden, Utah. Dogwood Industries provides custom prefabricated steel building solutions for commercial and industrial clients. Our scope of services includes design, manufacture and supply of proprietary building solutions, including structural steel fabrication and electrical and mechanical systems.

The core mission of the Field Project Manager is to create and successfully maintain the organization of the project. This may include, but is not limited to, planning, procuring and scheduling. The Field Project Manager supports production ensuring that information and documentation flows efficiently and accurately throughout the operation. The Field Project Manager is willing and able to accept other duties as assigned to ensure the successful outcome of the project.

Position can be a W-4 salaried position or 1099. Contract time frame is 6 - 9 months.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, civil engineering or a construction industry related field and 2 years of experience or 5 years minimum practical experience.
  • Ability to read and speak English fluently.
  • Must be a US citizen or have dual citizenship

Skills Required:

  • Fluent in the use of Project, Word, Excel, Outlook and Acrobat.
  • Excellent written communications, using correct grammar and spelling.

Accountabilities:

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

This position requires moderate physical activity, primarily on the job site to collaborate and inspect materials. To perform the essential functions of this job, the employee is also seated at a desk for computer work, utilizes the telephone frequently, participates in meetings and visits the contract factory setting where they may climb stairs, inspect and handle materials and be exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, fumes and odors.
