Cabinet Sales is a customer facing position that assists contractors and homeowners with learning, choosing, and purchasing cabinets from our vendors. They must track orders through planning, confirmation, ordering, and shipping all while maintaining good customer and vendor relationships. Above all, cabinet sales should be focused on attention to detail and providing expert knowledge to our customers.
Dunn Lumber Normandy Park has recently remodeled a section of its floorplan to provide a showroom and dedicated space for cabinet sales. We are looking to hire a candidate that is willing to proactively contact potential sales, follow up on quotes, and build the business in the south end. While this position will have the full support of the retail business and other specialty sales employees throughout the company, they will spend their day to day operating alone and working with customers on their projects. Dunn Lumber wants to hire a motivated employee for the long term who has a desire to expand on their industry knowledge and sales experience as a part of our team.
This is a Full-Time job working 40 hours per week. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday from 8:00am-4:45pm.
The pay scale for this position is unique within Dunn Lumber. It has an hourly base wage plus a commission on product sold. Expected salary range based off other specialty sales positions is $45,000-$70,000. Further information on salary will be provided during the interview.Qualifications
Employees must possess the ability to perform the following duties:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have competent typing skills, proficient in general computer operations, and a strong communication skills. Candidates must possess an extreme attention to detail and be able to stay organized as they handle multiple versions of plans, different customers, and updates or changes to orders. External applicants should possess a familiarity with Canyon Creek and/or StarMark cabinets from selling, manufacturing, or installing these products. Candidates should also possess at least 1 year of experience in 2020Design. Prior retail experience is preferred.Additional Information

This is a specialty sales position with a two-week training period and continued learning while employed. The two-week training is completed on site with your supervisor or at a Training Yard with the Training Department. The training for this position will focus on product knowledge, Point of Sale software, and yard operations.
This position is in a retail store environment. This position is largely sedentary with stools at each station. The noise level is moderate.
