Overview









**This is a hybrid position and offers the opportunity to work 50% of time remotely and 50% of time in the office.

Lead the team of Broker Claim Service Coordinators in the development, implementation, and maintenance for all claim aspects of the broker account relationships with prospects, agent/brokers, policyholders, and department. Participate in service capabilities presentations, customer implementation meetings, and on-site claim review meetings, stewardship meetings. Create claim implementation processes and marketing/training materials for clients. Respond to customer questions and coordinate with brokerage representatives to ensure broker and customer satisfaction. Supervisor responsibilities to include staffing, training and development, performance management, and work force planning.















Responsibilities









* Supervisor/Manager responsibilities may include all the following:
* Staffing needs that include interviewing and onboarding for new employees.
* Training and development, as well as coaching, and motivation for staff.
* Performance management, goal setting, employee engagement, and salary
* administration.
* Workforce management to include unit equipment, software, and space needs,
* approving time off and overtime usage, and budget recommendations.

* Participate in service capabilities presentations for prospects, agents, and brokers. Respond to customer questions and inquiries with a solid understanding of CM Groups' claim philosophy, practices, procedures, objectives, results, etc.
* Lead efforts with creating marketing and claims training material that will support agents, brokers, and territory managers with prospecting of potential clients and the on-boarding of new clients.
* Participate in customer implementation meetings with brokers and coordinate future communication and claims handling processes.
* Develop and maintain claim service plans on assigned new and renewal accounts. Document and communicate client expectations and claim service level agreements. Coordinate with internal claims management, staff the account stipulations, and determine claims department capacity. As necessary, develop and implement new process flows and negotiate/communicate initial special handling requirements, as well as updates.
* Coordinate on-site claim review meetings and telephonic claim review calls with agents and brokers. Gather and review claim data needed in preparation for meetings. Participate in on site claims review meetings and follow up on takeaways from meeting.
* Confer with the Claims Department on questions generated as a result of Risk Management Information System (RMIS) inquiries. Provide demonstrations and training on RMIS to brokers and insureds. Develop ad hoc reports to meet various needs of customers and brokers.
* Serve as an internal and external point of contact for all broker claims-related inquiries.
* Communicate new claim initiatives to include changes in vendors, models, staffing, systems, etc., to ensure brokers and customers are not caught off guard.
* May attend and participate as needed in periodic broker partnership meetings.















Qualifications









* Bachelor's degree is preferred. Equivalent post-secondary education and/or significant industry experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
* Evidence of continuing education in the insurance industry is desired.
* Minimum of five years' professional level experience working in a commercial lines claims function.
* Prior leadership experience preferred.
* Claims line experience is desired (property, workers' compensation or liability). Multi line experience is strongly preferred.
* Demonstrate relationship building skills, including strong listening skills.
* Proven ability to collaborate and explain decisions to others and negotiate appropriate solutions.
* Ability to effectively communicate with others.
* Able to work independently and travel as required.
