Centric is expanding within Southeastern Michigan and we are looking for an experienced Executive to join our Detroit Team.

The Practice Lead will collaborate with our Detroit Practice leadership and our national practices responsible for growing a thriving consulting business. They will be expected to work in many roles as we get the business operational and is someone who aspires to lead the Detroit Practice over time. The ideal candidate is someone that not only embraces our unique and exceptional culture but will continue to make it better.

In this role, you will:

  • Help set OG strategy and differentiate valid business opportunities.
  • Own and manage the oversight and expert guidance activities for multiple clients, projects, and programs simultaneously.
  • Work to ensure high quality of delivery and staffing across OG projects.
  • Recruit local lead resources to participate on the team as appropriate, providing mentorship to Detroit Consultants as needed.
  • Manage supply and demand planning/oversight for OG resources.
  • Develop strategic relationships and partnerships within the Southeastern Michigan area, building awareness of Centric within the community.
  • Exhibit strong project delivery leadership on a consistent basis for large and/or complex efforts, operating as a Program/Project Manager and SME as needed.
  • Create OG specific communications/promotions (e.g., white papers, presentations, blogs, etc.).
  • Show strong and continued collaboration with peers both within and across OGs.
  • Prioritize objectives and implement strategies to achieve company initiatives as part of the leadership team.

A successful candidate will have the following characteristics:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated skills, building and leading effective teams.
  • A passion for building a thriving business. This will require a high level of initiative, self-motivation, and entrepreneurship.
  • A strong and established network of existing Detroit based executive relationships, as well as a demonstrated record of creating and maintaining strong ongoing relationships.
  • Ideally, demonstrated experience across both consulting and business development. We believe the most effective leaders have real-world experience with both client delivery and sales.
  • Demonstrated leadership presence and maturity.
  • Extensive overall experience, including managing complex, professional services projects, and client relationships.
  • Executive-level presentation skills and ability to handle high-level client interactions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A natural ability to solve our clients' problems by strategically connecting client challenges with Centric service offerings.
