Assistant Executive Secretary for the City of Pittsburgh Municipal Pension Fund
The City of Pittsburgh Municipal Pension Fund is seeking a career-minded Assistant Executive Secretary who will train to ultimately assume the role of Executive Secretary. The Executive Secretary serves the Municipal Pension Fund’s Board of Directors and manages a three-employee office tasked with administering a multi-tiered defined pension plan for 2,500 active and 1,700 retired City of Pittsburgh employees. This full-time position will be considered open until filled.
Requirements:The successful applicant will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, some knowledge of defined pension plans, excellent customer service skills, and a history of supervisory experience. In addition, the applicant must have excellent writing abilities, general PC skills, and the ability to learn and implement new software, systems and procedures. A general knowledge of the actuarial profession is a plus. The applicant must be available to start in June and must be a resident of the City of Pittsburgh.
Salary:$60,000 – $68,000 commensurate with experience, plus a competitive benefits package.
