Marketing Manager

Job Summary

The Customer Marketing Manager is one that brings our brands, services, content, promotions, and customers together. This role leverages our martech platform, tool, and data to craft marketing messaging that resonates with both B2B and B2C audiences and also builds scalable, personalized customer experiences to drive growth, profit, and satisfaction. They are the overarching voices of the customer, masterminds of messaging, enablers of sales, and accelerators of adoption.

Essential Functions

Marketing Planning & Research

  • Ownership of the promotional calendar and creating consistent messages and compelling offers based on product descriptions, positioning statements, value propositions, and associated proof points provided.
  • Working with colleagues across functions, including Product Marketing Manager to leverage market trends, meet business objectives, and gather customer feedback

Customer Lifecycle & Message

  • Manage CRM housing all customer communication and information - Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Develop, maintain, and own a set of customer journeys detailing customer touchpoints within and across websites and the research lifecycle
  • Writing compelling email copy and developing different collateral types for various audiences and managing translations
  • Ensuring marketing campaigns are well-designed and presented on the website to drive conversions and grow revenue
  • Working with UX Designers and Product Managers to foster a cohesive cross-brand experience
  • Work cross-functionally to build a pipeline that spans our brand ecosystem identifying key, measurable metrics (upsell, churn, etc.) that produce an increase in customer lifetime value

Campaign Execution & Measurement

  • Work with Marketing Director and Demand Generation Manager to develop, execute, and measure multi-channel, revenue-motivated campaigns
  • Work with Commercial Sales to execute email campaigns to deliver a regular stream of MQLs
  • Provide regular and thorough reporting on marketing efforts to cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Collaborating with partners to increase usage and adoption rates
  • Supporting sales teams with well-written collateral and marketing materials

Internal Communications

  • Providing timely and accurate reporting that empowers decision-makers in setting the strategy for the organization
  • Other job duties as assigned

Requirements:

Education

  • Bachelor's degree is required or equivalent experience

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant marketing experience (customer marketing, product marketing, or B2B), with customer-facing or client service experience a plus
  • Phenomenal written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with eCommerce, international marketing, and localization strategy
  • Familiarity with or interest in academia or publishing is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar CRM platforms to craft Journeys, Personas, and Emails
  • Graphic design skills are a big plus
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to balance a strategic and creative mindset with meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to juggle multiple high priority projects simultaneously
  • Ability to be a productive member in a remote work environment and team

Work Environment

  • Relocation is not required as this position can be remote-based.
  • This role can be based anywhere in the US.
