Logistics Manager

Description

We are looking for a motivated self-starter to join the Supply Chain team as a Logistics Manager, with a primary focus on Enterprise business order fulfillment. This position will be one of two Logistics Managers at Feather focused on our Enterprise business. The Logistics Manager is the primary conduit between our Account Management team and our customer. Managing all Enterprise orders from reception to delivery and ensuring all customer SLA's are met. This position is a part of our Supply Chain team and reports to the Director of Operations.

What You'll Be Doing:

Order Fulfillment

  • Identify fulfillment strategy:
    • (1) what inventory we are using to fulfill orders
    • (2) whether internal vs 3pl partner is used/ which 3pl
    • (3) create contingency plans as potential blockers arise
  • Track inventory movement and proper allocation to customers via Zoltar/Partner systems
  • Liaise with all parties to get orders delivered (Ent/Merch/AM/EPD/3PLs/WW Manager)


Build Process and Guide Product Development

  • Contribute to Internal SOPs in collaboration with Feather Ops
  • Define needs to Product via cross-functional discussion across Ops
  • Guide Product Development as tools are built
  • Build SOPs for our Partners


Drive Performance Improvements

  • Report metrics weekly (currently 5 data points) to drive performance internally and with partners
  • Site visits to manage performance


Support Buildout of National 3PL Network

  • Support the development of multiple 3PL Partners who can (1) fulfill orders and (2) execute reverse logistics, as led by VP/Director


Customer and Partner Relationships

  • Build, promote and maintain good working relationships with Company and Third Partner personnel-transportation and Procurement departments.
  • Customer support to both internal and external customers regarding status of orders
