Job Skills:

  • Monitor sanitation practices to ensure that employees follow standards and regulations.
  • Check the quality of raw or cooked food products to ensure that standards are met.
  • Determine production schedules and staff requirements necessary to ensure timely delivery of services.
  • Check the quantity and quality of received products.
  • Supervise or coordinate activities of cooks or workers engaged in food preparation.
  • Check products for quality and identify damaged or expired goods.
  • Set oven temperatures, and place items into hot ovens for baking.
  • Combine measured ingredients in bowls of mixing, blending, or cooking machinery.
  • Place dough in pans, molds, or on sheets, and bake in production ovens or on grills.
  • Set time and speed controls for mixing machines, blending machines, or steam kettles so that ingredients will be mixed or cooked according to instructions.
  • $50,000 to $75,004.80 annual salary commensurate with experience.
  • Annual department bonus based on the performance of the department.
  • Relocation bonus of $2,500 if moving to job location within the state of Florida and distance is 35 miles or more.
  • Relocation bonus of $5,000 if moving to job location from outside the state of Florida.
