As Code Climate continues to grow, so do our employees! In this period of hyper-growth, we are looking to bring on an experienced HR Generalist to provide the best employee experience possible, in any situation. This role is critical, as they will directly support the Code Climate employee population by acting as the main point of contact for employee queries on any/all HR-related topics. This person will report to the Head of Employee Experience, and be essential in growing the HR team to its fullest and greatest potential.

Examples of Problems You'll be Solving :

  • Conduct employee onboarding & offboarding.
  • Manage HR operations process and liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure employees are set up for success throughout their Code Climate journey.
  • Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves, alternative work arrangements, and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Promote HR programs to create an amazing employee experience.
  • Manage content on the Internal Employee site.
  • Support performance management and goal setting processes.
  • Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits and organizing culture initiatives.
  • Conduct employee exit interviews to understand themes, address issues, and inform recommendations to continuously improve employee engagement and experience.
  • Oversee internal HR systems & platforms.
  • Research trends in the marketplace for workplace culture and provide recommendations for employee engagement and culture.
  • Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with employment regulations.
  • Additional projects as needed.

  • You have 2+ years experience as an HR Generalist.

  • You have a strategic approach to People initiatives, challenges and programs.
  • You are comfortable working in a startup environment.
  • You have an understanding of human resources policies and procedures.
  • You have knowledge of general and NYS employment laws.

  • HRIS, PEO systems knowledge
  • Understanding of DE&I programs
