Product Lead - Analysis & Solution Design

OVERVIEW:

The Product Manager - Digital, oversees the portfolio of diverse projects that span Saadia Directs digital commerce platform. Saadias strategy is to build a digital commerce platform that facilitates a unified experience for our customer that spans the entire buying journey from discovery through purchase, delivery, and support. The new platform will enable new customer acquisition and retention through a targeted and personalized experience that leverages data and analytics throughout the customer journey. It will also improve overall business operational efficiencies, expand the users ability to be self-serve, and allow for rapid deployment across a multi-site/multi-banner portfolio of web, mobile, store and omni-solutions. This role is instrumental in bringing this vision and platform technology to life.

This role is broad in scope and will require collaboration with cross-functional teams, external vendor partners, and remote IT teams located in a variety of different time zones and geographies. In addition to strong product management skills, the role requires strong Retail and Digital Commerce knowledge and a high sense of ownership around delivering results.

You will be involved in regular communication with senior leadership on roadmaps, progress, risks, and change management. Technical design skills, product management and executive communication skills are essential. You will provide project leadership, mitigate risks, make tradeoffs, and balance business needs versus technical constraints.

This is a fast paced environment and the Product Manager is expected to be a self-starter and effectively manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Experienced in pain points analysis and solutions design, you will own and optimize the Ecommerce product roadmap for your funnel from solution design, requirement, Implementation, measurement, quality and validation.
  • Make product recommendations based on data, leveraging analytics, A/B testing and an understanding of customer needs/trends, to assess current experiences. Translate highest priority opportunities into compelling business cases that define business value and ROI.
  • Monitor and maximize ongoing impact and performance of initiatives against expectations with a focus on optimizing both product and processes to continually improve ROI
  • Partner with Engineering, Brand, Marketing, UX Design, Merchandising and Data teams to inform and prioritize the roadmap and ensure the successful adoption of Ecommerce functionalities
  • Manage expectations with cross functional business leaders and Digital teams, Marketing, Creative, Engineering, Operations, and third party vendors-to effectively prioritize, roll out and scale impactful initiatives
  • Create and maintain product roadmaps, feature backlogs and product documentation such as user stories, use cases, user flows, logic flows, and functional specifications
  • Own, develop and analyze recurring Ecommerce reporting for your stakeholders
  • Watch competitive landscape and technology advancements to identify best practices, emerging trends, and innovation opportunities
  • Provide clear visibility to all stakeholders on the progress of the initiative, highlighting any risks and issues in advance
  • Actively take ownership of any blockers/impediments to deliver results within the given timelines

MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Management of various external vendor resources

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4+ years of experience in Digital Product Management.
  • Superior relationship building with cross-functional teams to deliver results through excellent partnership, communication and negotiating skills
  • Must have experience coordinating efforts across many cross functional teams spread across different locations.
  • Passion for working in a fast pace agile digital environment
  • Specific experience in one or more of the Ecommerce functional areas like Browse/ Shop, Cart and Checkout, Loyalty, Promotions, Search and SEO, Personalization, Post Purchase Experience etc.
  • Retail/Digital/Ecommerce domain experience highly preferred.
  • Prior experience in Shopify, ATG and Endeca Experience Manager highly preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, a highly motivated team player and self-starter.
  • Excellent analytical skills with an understanding of Web Analytics, engagement KPIs and a mature understanding of how to build business cases, measure benefits and communicate results to Sr. Leadership.
  • Prior QA and/or UX experience is a plus
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Management or related discipline
