Position Summary

Are you a project manager who is passionate about enabling learning and transformation? Do uncertainty and ambiguity bring out your passion for innovation and experimentation? This role provides the opportunity to project manage an exciting new initiative to build the skills engineering team members need to advance their careers and drive F5’s strategic product portfolio vision.

We are looking for someone who wants to immerse themselves in the needs of the business, work collaboratively with engineers and other partners around the world, take risks, and learn from failure.

Responsibilities

Project manage this new strategic skill-building initiative

Continually solicit the ideas and opinions of engineers, engineering leaders, and others to ensure the new skill-building solution addresses needs and accommodates business constraints

Handle license allocation for the new technical learning platform

Support the engineering community in embracing this new learning opportunity by providing how-to materials, FAQs, and email responses to questions

Communicate and coordinate across multiple engineering groups

Track and analyze data to report on the new initiative’s usage, user satisfaction, and impact

Qualifications

Required

Experience in project management for engineering teams

Familiarity with software engineering concepts (including Agile)

Proven project management skills, including planning, prioritizing, handling details, keeping multiple tasks/projects on track, using time well, and delivering results

High level of self-awareness

Functions well in a fast-paced environment with high levels of ambiguity and frequent change

Eager to learn, grow, and build skills

Minimum of 5 years experience with an enterprise software company

A strong focus on internal customers’ needs and satisfaction, with an emphasis on using data to demonstrate impact

Collaborative, with the ability to quickly form a network of relationships, listen, and learn from multiple perspectives
