Job Description:

This role is key in supporting the on-going improvement and development of Capita Fire and Rescue and the Fire Service College. The Continuous Improvement Co-ordinator sits at the heart of our change initiatives, working with and supporting the teams managing and delivering improvements across CFR and the FSC and being the go-to person for information on the status of these initiatives.

The role includes supporting the planning of a range of continuous improvement and change initiatives; the tracking of progress and benefits realisation; risk, issue and dependency management; and regular reporting of Management Information.

What you will do:

Updating and maintaining Project Plans in MS Project and extracting data into other MS Office products such as Excel and PowerPoint
Completing basic data validation checks in MS Excel
Building, updating and maintaining management information reports, Excel trackers and datasets
Supporting internal and client governance and reporting processes
Scheduling and coordinating internal governance meetings.
Maintaining SharePoint documentation to enable version control and commercial processes
Attending key implementation meetings, recording and tracking progress against key actions
Constructing regular and routine PowerPoint presentations to support governance and reporting
Supporting the tracking and maintenance of risks, issues and dependencies; confident to raise new risks, issues and dependencies and understand the relationship between the project plans and the RAID log
Reporting on financial benefits realisation; and tracking progress against forecast
Managing documents through CFR's and FSC's internal approval processes
Managing documents through MOD review and approvals processes
Building and maintaining relationships with counterparts in the client's PMO function

You and your experience:

Confidence to engage with and influence senior stakeholders
Experience of managing a continuous improvement function or PMO
A recognised Project Management or Change Management qualification, such as Prince2, P3O or Managing Successful Programmes
Awareness of the Software Delivery Lifecycle
MS Outlook; including shared mailboxes and calendars
Experience in MS Excel ,MS Project ,PowerPoint ,MS SharePoint
Data analysis, data manipulation and data validation - keen eye for detail
