This is a great role working for a fantastic organisation based in Cardiff. The temporary contract is ongoing but if all goes well it could potentially open up more permanent positions. This administrator role is working between Monday - Friday 37.5 hours a week with the flexibility to pick up overtime when offered. You would be working from home 80% of the time but would be required to travel to either Princess of Wales, Prince Charles or Llandough maybe once every 3 weeks but all expenses will be paid for.

Job Responsibilities;

The role involves providing comprehensive administrative and clerical support to the administrative and diagnostic services of the department.

* The post holder will be a key member of the team, working closely with the Training Team, Laboratory Management, Scientific staff and laboratory support workers. This is a key supporting role for the effective running of the team and may include specimen reception/data input duties as part of the core role.
* Responsible for assisting and aiding a training manager to prepare new employees for the job in the organisation. A training assistant handles a wide range of clerical tasks, right from answering questions from employees to answering telephone calls, responding to emails and passing out training manuals.

The post holder is required to communicate and liaise with staff and members of partner organisations, produce work to deadlines whilst ensuring company policies are followed & up to date. The post holder will be expected to adopt a flexible approach when the needs of the service require.

The ideal post holder will have;

· Some experience in administration

· previous experience working for local authorities

· Clear professional telephone communications

· Proficient IT skills

· Accurate with high volume routine admin and data loading

· Confident to work on own initiative
