Base Location: South East

Salary: Circa £45,000 OTE

Base salary £26,120 - £34,500 + overtime + standby payments

And an additional range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

What is the role?

We have an exciting opportunity for a Linesperson to join our teams based in South of England.
working as part of team carrying out various overhead line construction projects whilst also carrying out inspections and maintenance on the 132kV overhead line network.
responsible for the safety of yourself and colleagues, and act as ambassador for a strong safety culture in everything you do.
this role can be demanding, and you'll be required to respond quickly to emergency situations; we want to provide the best possible service to our customers in their time of need. In addition, your role will involve working outdoors in all weather conditions and there may also be a requirement to undertake standby duties.
There will be a requirement to stay away from home depending on job location.

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
Previous experience and knowledge of 132kv overhead line construction work
A relevant qualification, SSE Operational Authorisations, or Tower Rescue experience would all be a great advantage too
A Full UK Driving License
A high regard for safety, embedding yourself in our safety culture and adhering to guidelines in everything you do is a key priority, strong communication skills and an ability to convey technical aspects in a transferable manner, enthusiasm and drive with a flexible approach to work and an ability to adapt to changing business and project priorities.
