Pension Systems Support Consultant: Amersham


Our core business is the provision of services to trustees of UK occupational pension schemes such as DB, DC, CARE and cash balance.

We have a bespoke pension administration system called Penstream and we are about to embark on a major project to upgrade it. Our Penstream team onboard new clients, undertake business as usual pension systems work and test and check data. They play a crucial part in the development of our systems and interact with a wide variety of stakeholders across the business.

We have a number of Penstream opportunities across our network of offices and invite applications from experienced pension DB and DC administrators who have a flair for systems and would like to develop their career in that direction.

These are permanent positions and successful applicants will work under our WorkSmart framework, sharing time between home and the office.


Responsibilities are varied and include but are not limited to:

Undertaking new client systems installations and administration process automations and improvements
Providing day-to-day technical support for pension administration systems across our business
Responsibility for the research and development of solutions to new or unknown issues, including testing and making recommendations Attending meetings and providing system demonstrations with providers, clients and prospects
Providing support and consultancy to project work (such as pension increases, data cleansing, benefit statements)
Producing ad hoc data reports and analysis of pension system data
Preparing bulk data to enable, and perform, its upload to the pension systems
Providing training and support colleagues


You will have a background in DB or DC pension administration with a flair for systems or a desire to move into more of a systems based role

You'll need to have minimum of GCSE Grade "5" or "C" Maths and English

You will have a strong understandng of Microsoft Office programmes, in particular Excel, Word and Outlook

You will be a team player with excellent relationship-building and communication skills

Ideally you will have a pension administration qualification
