L&D Operations Trainer, up to £25k + Bens, Remote (Home working), with travel across the UK when required.
37.5 hours per week - 09:00 - 17:30 Monday to Friday.

Job Description:

Key Accountabilities:

To play a key role in designing and developing L&D solutions to new and existing non-clinical staff, equipping them with the knowledge, practical skills and motivation to carry out their work-related tasks and to meet business needs. This may be both technical and developmental (softer skills) in nature, including systems-related training.

To deliver and evaluate a range of non-clinical L&D training programmes and interventions to PIP employees, including Enquiry Centre staff, Team Leaders, Managers, Receptionists and other supporting areas. Particular focus will be on delivering relevant training to the PIP Enquiry Centre (Lot 2 & 4).

To develop and maintain User Guides for areas of responsibility and provide accurate input into Process Definition Documents and Standard Operating Procedures to support the business, as technical accuracy is key.

To work closely with key operational colleagues and stakeholders across PIP, ensuring that L&D provides an effective and efficient training service in line with business and client needs. This may include conducting Training Needs Analysis (TNA).

The role will involve supporting strategic projects and continuous improvement initiatives, as allocated by the Lead Operations (ECA) Trainer or Head of Non-clinical Training.

Strong attention to detail and 'right first time' approach

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, with clearly defined performance standards

Ability to manage stakeholders

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Developed IT skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Packages e.g., Word, Excel & PowerPoint

Experience of designing and delivering L&D interventions and solutions

Has technical knowledge of PIP processes & systems (particularly ECA-related) and demonstrates an ability to maintain technical knowledge
