Job Description:

The Financial Analyst maintains Capex tracking and supports monthly closing, cost analysis, and compliance for the Spark Clear Aligner business.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support and monitor Capital spending activities. Work closely with Accounting and Engineering on tracking and reconciling monthly Capital spending.
  • Monitor and track all fixed assets additions, transfers, disposition, and depreciation.
  • Track and report actual vs. plan cost savings monthly and provide variance analysis and explanations.
  • Complete forecast and budget submissions, including upload into the company’s financial system (HFM).
  • Assist in various month-end closing activities and ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met.
  • Support ad-hoc cost analysis as required.
  • Support special ad-hoc reporting, projects and analysis as required.
  • Ensure SOX compliance and assist with preparation of internal and external audit requests.

Job Requirements:

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required
  • 3 to 5 years of Capital expense tracking and analysis experience
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to research, compile, analyze and interpret large data

Preferred requirements:

  • Experience with Hyperion and ERP systems, Oracle preferred.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy as well as the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization
