Our client is a leading specialist within the healthcare sector and are looking to recruit an experienced business development manager to their team due to continued growth. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced business development manager with ongoing career progression and development.


Oversee all day-to-day sales leads and customer relationship/account management for Health & Wellbeing sector. You will focus on identifying and implementing new business growth opportunities through new services/markets and emerging trends, develop and implement new strategic partnerships, support new proposals and plans, and manage long-term objectives to meet customer and business needs and requirements.

Identify ways to improve processes and service delivery.

Build trusted relationships to enhance collaboration and cooperation.

Drive customer satisfaction by matching products and services to their personal needs.

Spend time building a deep understanding of our customers personal and business requirements.

Set challenging and personal goals, use effective ways to track and measure progress, look for opportunities to learn and develop.

As an experienced business development manager, you will be experienced at building relationships with new and existing clients to nurture the development of leads and follow them through to completion.

You will be tasked with growing the client portfolio in both public and private sectors

You will be tasked with managing all proposal efforts and lead on smaller tendering opportunities.

You will be working closely with the wider sales function, colleagues and stakeholders to proactively nurture the business pipeline.

Ideal Experience:

* Minimum of 2 years’ sales/business development experience, ideally operating in a healthcare environment (CCGs, ICSs, local authority, or private sector).

* Excellent interpersonal and relationship management/development skills, with the ability to influence at all levels, including senior colleagues and external stakeholders

* Strong communication skills (written, presentation and verbal) and excellent attention to detail

* Commercial awareness and experience working to KPIs/targets

* Organised, with effective planning, prioritisation, project and time-management skills

* Self-motivated and results focused

* Proven track record of achieving results in a similar role

* Team player with a positive attitude who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing, prioritising and organising their own workload.

* Experience within a relevant sector, health, social care, life sciences.
