South of Scotland and North of Scotland

£21,000 - £23,000 plus 7.5% employer pension, 24 days holiday + 9 public holidays, life cover

Valeco Recruitment are delighted to partnering with our exclusive client again to recruit for this newly created opportunity within an established Scottish business in the heart of Edinburgh.

This is a rare opportunity working firstly 34.5 hours per week Monday to Friday with an excellent salary and benefits on offer along with being based in a supportive and fun environment.

We are hiring two Regional Support Officers to join them with one covering the South of Scotland and the other the North of Scotland.

Your role will be to support and assisting the Regional Training Officers with all administration of their workload and where necessary to provide cover to ensure a high level of service is always adhered.

So, want to know what your role will involve?

* First point of contact for enquiries, complaints and general industry enquiries

* Update and maintain client data on the internal database accurately

* Create and maintain annual apprentice recruitment action plans

* Organise and coordinate attendance at recruitment events

* Deliver a high level of customer service

* Building up internal and external relationships

* Working with and managing key stakeholders

* Internal relationships working with colleagues to achieve company goals and objectives as a team

* Identify any improvements and opportunities for further efficiencies and new areas of operation for the future development

* Assist the RTO's with additional support measures in place where required

* Provide absence cover for a RTO

And that is just a few tasks, this is a role where you will grow and develop along with being challenged and busy!

What do we require from you?

* Firstly you will have EXCEPTIONAL communication and presentation skills face to face and over the telephone/virtually and we will LOVE to hear your evidence with this

* Super organised administrator who does come with a strong and proven track record in supporting ideally a team of individuals

* Come with experience in organising events and communicating with key stakeholders

* Involved in recruitment and we are looking for someone who has gained experience in this, however this part is not essential

* Someone who loves supporting others and making a difference with the start of a school leavers career path

* PC literate - MS Office Suite essential

* Be able to work under pressure and managing varying deadlines

* Follow government and industry legislation

* Proactive and can do attitude

* Nice to have experience gained in the education sector, however not essential
