Part Time Storekeeper (Adventure Soldier Training)

Fantastic part time opportunity for those with experience within the military or cadet force.

You will be required to manage the store where adventure training equipment is housed. You will need to ensure the military equipment is looked after and ready for use as and when needed. All equipment must meet PPE checks and must be compliant to Health and Safety regulations. Reporting directly into the Operations Manager, you will be part of a small team environment.

Job Description:

What you'll be doing:
Issuing and collection of appropriate clothing and equipment to recruits and permanent staff, keeping a record of all items issued and collected
Checking clothing and equipment daily, including 3-monthly PPE checks
Loading and unloading drying rooms and restocking storage areas ready to re-issue items
Conducting minor repairs and maintenance of clothing and equipment
Ensuring compliance with all relevant Entrust and client policies and procedures
Assisting with keeping the Soldier Development Wing stores clean and tidy

What we're looking for:
Previous experience within the military or cadet force
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to lift heavy items, as and when required
Hold or working towards a HSE recognised PPE Inspector Qualification
