Accountancy Apprenticeship coach

Educated Appointments are delighted to be supporting one of our training provider clients in recruiting a new Apprenticeship coach to join their team.

It’s a full-time, permanent, home-based role and so the suitable candidate can be based anywhere. Our clients offices are in Manchester however and so their preference would be a candidate who is able to travel to Manchester and get home again on the same day (for occasional team events, socials, etc).

The successful candidate will be be working with accountancy apprentices at levels 2-4, so an understanding of these apprenticeships and the AAT pathway is important. Our client use specialist technical tutors to support the knowledge delivery and have good materials to support delivery. As a result, delivery of the “knowledge” content is not required although an understanding of accountancy and some vocational experience of the sector will be needed. The primary functions of the coach are to manage the overall programme, ensure that skills and behaviours are being developed and that the KSBs are being applied in the workplace.

Our client have a good benefits package including (but not limited to): enhanced maternity and paternity pay, 5% employer pension contributions, expensed home office kit, a day off for your birthday, iPhone, cycle to work scheme and more. More importantly though, they have a strong, supportive work culture and all share the business purpose, which is for their colleagues, apprentices and their employers to achieve their potential. Safeguarding the welfare of their apprentices underpins everything that they do and they have an equally strong commitment to staff welfare and development.
