As a front-end UI developer, you will be working with a cross functional team who operate in an Agile, Kanban environment. Practically everyone in the technology function works remotely, so they are very happy for you to do the same.
In collaboration with the team, and other stakeholders, you’ll be involved in the whole range of UI development activities across their platform.
You’ll obviously have very good JavaScript skills and be an advocate of great user experience.
Specifically, you’ll fit in nicely here if your background includes the following:
* 3+ years of experience working as a Front-End User Interface Engineer (or equivalent)
* Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
* 3+ years of experience with JavaScript
* An understanding of technical SEO
* Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
* Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks
* Experience with version control (ideally Git)
* Critical thinking & problem solving
* Keen eye and attention to detail
It’s not essential, but if you can point to any of the following it be great:
* Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or similar relevant field
* Experience with major JavaScript frameworks (ReactJS/AngularJS/Vue.js)
* Experience with RESTful APIs
* Experience working in E-Commerce
* Some .NET development experience (VB.NET/C#)
* Experience in working as part of a team delivering test automation through a CI/CD pipeline
* Experience in development practices such as Unit Testing, TDD, Mobbing, BDD
* Experience with Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator
