Multi Media Executive (Digital Media)

My client, a successful consumer brand in Manchester is recruiting a Multi Media Executive to join their creative design team. Applicants must have experience in adobe creative, along with both print and digital media. This role will be working with a design manager and digital manager, to support design and digital content across both online and print.

Design Responsibilities

Assist Design Manager and Brand team in meeting the company’s needs for a wide range of brand consistent communication materials when required

Support wider marketing team to bring to life 360 campaigns across site, marketing activation, in store and print while maintaining branding consistency at all times

Be comfortable working with both print and digital media.

Type of print materials you can expect to work on will vary from catalogues and flyers through to product imagery and POS

Create and maintain artwork & packaging library

Design and execute monthly mailers and press releases for UK, Irish and French teams.

Digital Content Responsibilities

Support Digital Manager by understanding brand values, brand strategy, tone of voice across 4 brands, and translate this into design

Be socially savvy and manage day to day social media activity following the Content Strategy set by Digital Manager. This will include:

Crafting compelling posts across Facebook, Instagram and Twitter

Understanding what works on the different channels and adapting content accordingly to specific audiences

Enthusiasm to immerse themselves in social channels on a daily basis and actively contribute ideas towards Content Strategy

Responding to questions/replies/complaints and action accordingly

Support specific brand campaigns/events following a brief, including:

Video editing, social media posts, content creation eg, photography and video

Work alongside brand teams to create engaging and relevant cross-platform content (video, web banners, photos etc) for social/web, making recommendations

Be able to write to a good standard and have an understanding of writing for online channels

Work alongside Digital Manager in ongoing growth of the email database to deliver mailers/newsletters in line with the Content Calendar. This will include:

Creation of mailers in Mailchimp – build and design according to a brief

Analysing and reporting on open rates, response rates, CTR etc to make recommendations and improvements

Work with Digital Manager and support in other areas as needed, eg content planning, website updates etc. making recommendations

Understand and monitor content performance in analytics. Use insight and knowledge to present monthly analysis reports alongside digital manager to further enhance content

Skills Required:

Educated to degree standard (graphic design/digital media) desirable

Must have similar experience working in a multi media design role, both online & print

Graphic design experience

Understands digital marketing and has had some exposure

Understanding of digital/online technology and its application across multi-channel content publishing, social media and video

Good understanding of SEO principles and online publishing

Video editing


Experience of using Mailchimp or similar platform

Data Analytics

Understand and experienced in using - Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign) and Microsoft 365

Able to manage multiple projects

Excellent organisation skills and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines

Self-motivated with good eye for detail

Good presentation skills

Experience of working in a fast paced environment working across multiple brands is desirable

Salary £27k basic, flexi hours Monday -Thursday (8 hour days) Friday early finish, home working tbc, 24 days holiday + bank holidays, pension, life assurance, private healthcare
