Area Sales Rep

At Manpower we have an exciting opportunity from my client who is a massive National Plant and Tool Hire business.

Due to continual growth and expansion my client is currently looking for an experienced Area Sales Representative to join their well-established team.

The main focus of this role is to manage and develop business from existing customers and introduce new customers to the company to ensure that all depots and divisions meet and exceed budget.


Identify and maximise revenue by cross selling all divisions to existing customers
Identify new business opportunities and introduce those customers to the company
Manage a portfolio of customers to ensure revenue growth and smooth running of their account
Relationship building with large, existing accounts
Prepare and submit proposals and quotations to customers
Review customer spend regularly through revenue reporting
Submit detailed and accurate reports to Regional Sales Manager
Arrange regular face to face appointments and telephone calls with new and existing customers
Attend regional sales meetings
Liaise daily with operational teams in all divisionsKey performance indicators:

Achieve and average of 8 quality calls per day
Develop new business in the area for all divisions
Relationship building with all colleagues, locally and nationally
Quality and timely submission of reports
Call planning and recording of customer detail in CMS system
Depot revenue vs budget
Be proactive with quotes and customer agreements
Ongoing management appraisal through monthly joint visits and quarterly KPI meetings with the Regional Sales ManagerIf you are an experienced Area Sales Representative within the Hire Industry, we would welcome your application for the role.
