Salary/Benefits: £55,000 - £65,000 + bonus

We are looking for an experienced Employee Relations Specialist - EMEA to join an established HR team based in London on a permanent basis with hybrid working.

Reporting to the Director of Employee Relations, you will be responsible for partnering with HR business partners and stakeholders, on employee relations matters, providing specialist employee relations, employment law and change management guidance.

Responsibilities of Employee Relations Specialist - EMEA
* Coach, support and advise managers based in the UK and EMEA, on complex ER issues and case management
* Dealing with employment issues by liaising with management/employees as appropriate, seeking internal/external advice where necessary to ensure employment law compliance and applying best practice
* Actively manage and support the business with change management initiatives such as restructurings
* Acquisition integration including TUPE transfers and collective consultation
* Monitor changes to employment law and practices across the region and ensure they are communicated to the relevant stakeholders and integrated into existing policies and practices
* Partner with managers in active performance management of employees
* Manage complex sickness absence cases and offer guidance around Company policy on pay and when to use discretion, as well as manage occupational health referrals
* Support managers with complex investigations, grievances, capability, and disciplinary hearings
* Review Employee Handbooks and associated HR policies and procedures in line with employment law changes and best practice.
* Lead/support on corporate initiatives such as Wellbeing, including mental health initiatives
* Management of Employment Tribunal claims

Skills required for the Employee Relations Specialist - EMEA:
* Experience of communicating and influencing to establish and maintain effective relationships with key clients
* Demonstrate experience of managing complex employee relation cases
* Experience of managing redundancy and change projects
