Spanish speaking Associate Editor

A thrilling opportunity has arisen for a skilled Spanish speaking Associate Editor to join an exciting intergovernmental organisation based in London. This position is a maternity cover, lasting minimum 3 months.

Within this fantastic position you will be responsible for all editing of Spanish documents as well as proofreading and ensure all documents are accurate and consistent, making all documents ready for printing. This role requires a confident, well-spoken individual with strong writing skills and a great eye for detail. As part of your role you will be allocating documents to external translators, therefore it is essential for you to have strong communication skills, as you will be communicating with various individuals. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in an editing role as well as working in a team and be able to work well in a fast paced environment. It is a great opportunity for an experienced Spanish speaking Associate Editor to join an intergovernmental organisation in London.

Profile:

Native level of Spanish and fluent English and French, both written and spoken
Previous experience as an editor of at least 5 years
Excellent written skills
Degree in translation, linguistics or similar is desired
Excellent communication, prioritisation and organisation skills
